Collection: Chanderi Sarees

Chanderi, an ethnic textile from Madhya Pradesh, is famed for its lightweight, sheer quality, and fine texture. Crafted by interlacing silk and gold zari with cotton yarn, it creates a luxurious, glistening fabric. Traditionally used for saris, Chanderi features distinctive floral butis (patterns) and a translucent texture. These motifs, inspired by nature and including swans, fruits, gold coins, and celestial bodies, are handwoven on handlooms using various needles. Weavers coat the designs with gold, silver, and copper, enhancing Chanderi’s unique aesthetic and timeless appeal. It comes in three varieties: Chanderi silk cotton, pure silk, and Chanderi cotton.
