Welcome to RuCheera, a saree brand born out of our shared passion for sarees, art, and design. We are two sisters united by a deep love for Indian culture and craftsmanship.

One of us is an engineer with extensive experience in the Data Analytics, having studied at ISB. The other is a Sociologist and Public Policy professional from TISS and UOH, with extensive experience working with international organizations and governments. Despite our diverse professional backgrounds, what truly brought us together and to sarees is our mutual love for art, music, and dance.

As National level classical Bharatanatyam dancers and Carnatic singers, we have always been deeply connected to the rich cultural heritage of India. Our love for Indian art, design, and handicraft inspired us to create RuCheera. At RuCheera, we strive to celebrate and preserve the timeless elegance of sarees while infusing them with contemporary aesthetics.
